Ingredients-
- 1 can pink salmon, save liquid
- 1 cup brown rice
- 2 cups water, plus salmon liquid
- 1 egg, hard boiled and chopped
- 1/2 cup peas and carrots
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons cod liver oil
- 1 package nori sheets (can be found in oriental foods section at grocery store)
Directions-
Drain salmon and save liquid. Flake with fork. In sauce pan, add salmon liquid, water, and brown rice. Cook rice and let cool.
In a large bowl add salmon, brown rice, chopped egg, peas, carrots, parsley and cod liver oil. Mix well.
Place on nori sheet on a flat surface and spread mixture 1/4 inch over sheet. Leave 1/4 inch of the edge to dampen with water. Roll and repeat until mixture is gone.

Salmon is one of the most amazingly nutritious meats out there. It does wonders for a dog’s skin and coat. This recipe includes cornmeal which is ok in moderation for dog’s who are not allergic. If possible, you can replace the cornmeal with rolled oats.
Ingredients-
- 1 can bonless salmon
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 tablespoons cornmeal (or oats)
- 1 potato, chopped and boiled
- 1 carrot, chopped and boiled
- 1 stick celery, chopped
Combine salmon, egg, and cornmeal. Mix well. Form into patties, coat with more cornmeal. Fry in a tiny amount of canola oil until brown on both sides. Chop patties into small bites and stir in with chopped and boiled veggies. You can stir in a spoonful of cottage cheese for moisture as an option.

This recipe is great because cottage cheese is the best dairy product for a dog, full of antioxidants and protein.
Ingredients-
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1 cup cooked carrots
- 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
Directions-
Boil chicken breasts and chop. Cook carrots until tender, but not mushy. Mix with rice and cottage cheese. You can use broth as an option to make it more moist.

For this recipe, you can use any meat your dog enjoys.
Ingredients-
- 4 whole eggs
- 1 tablespoon cream
- 2/3 cup skim milk
- 3 ounces any meat finely chopped and cooked
- 2 ounces shredded lowfat cheddar cheese
- 1 9-inch pie crust
- 1 sprig parsley
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Wisk egg, cream, and milk together. Pour into pie crust. Add cooked meat and cheese. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Let cool before serving. Sprinkle parsley on top.

Ingredients-
- 1/2 lb. lamb
- 1/4 cup cooked brown rice
- 1 small potato
- 1/4 cup green beans
Directions-
Brown lamb in a pan. When completely cooked, drain fat. Set aside.
Cut potato and beans into small bite-sized peices. Place in a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Simmer until veggies are tender, 15-20 minutes.
Drain. Add veggies to meat mixture. Let cool before serving.

Ingredients-
- 1/2 cup barley
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 1/2 pounds ground chicken or turkey
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup raw rolled oats
- 1/4 cup finely chopped spinach
- 1/4 cup finely chopped zucchini
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Add barley and broth to a sauce pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 50 minutes.
Preheat oven at 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, add meat, cottage cheese, veggies, and eggs. Mix thouroughly. Add cooled barley and olive oil, mix well.
Add mixture to a loaf pan and bake for about an hour.
